Dr Renginee G. Pillay is a Lecturer in law at the University of Essex UK. She holds an LLB from The London School of Economics and Political Science, an LLM in International Business Law from University College London, and a PhD in Law from the University of Kent. She also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law (now University of Law).
Renginee teaches both at undergraduate (LLB) and postgraduate (LLM) levels in the areas of company law, corporate governance, business and human rights, and the law of obligations.
Renginee is the author of the monograph The Changing Nature of Corporate Social Responsibility: CSR and Development – The Case of Mauritius published by Routledge as part of the Routledge Research in Corporate Law series in 2015, which is now available in paperback. Her research primarily focuses on corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, business and human rights, and law and development.
